SednaVoice Takes Steps To Help End Bullying
SednaVoice puts its voice behind BullyingCanada

July 1, 2011: SednaVoice has put its voice behind the hardworking team at BullyingCanada—young people speaking out about bullying and victimization in our schools, parks, streets and homes. This spring, SednaVoice donated one of its feature-rich Hosted BPX phone systems to the Ontario-based charity, installed and customized to meet the charity’s specific needs. BullyingCanada is dependent on reliable, sophisticated telephone systems and equipment for facilitating group conference, one-to-one telephone calls, and “bullying” talk through a national hotline.

1 out of 4 kids are bullied, one out of 5 kids are the bully and that 282,000 high school kids are attacked each month nationally. Not only can bullying be deadly, it also takes an enormous emotional toll on its victims. Following on their tag line, “Listen and Speak Up!” BullyingCanada encourages kids and youth to speak up anytime their experience bullying, either directed at themselves or others. The charity was founded by two youth, Rob Frenette, 20 and Katie Neu, 18, determined to help stop bullying.
