Voicemail by email
o Functionality

An email with subject “New message 1 in mailbox” should be in your inbox
Double click on the attachment of .wav file
Turn up your speakers. You should hear the voicemail.
Call Display
o Functionality: Displays phone number and name on display of origination number if the phone has call display capability.
o Test:
Call from an outside phone

The name and number should be displayed. If the source of the calling number is a
cell phone, only the number will be displayed.
Visual Call waiting
o Functionality: The name and number of the originating phone will be displayed while you are on a call.
o Test
Call a number and have a conversation with an outside party. Call from an outside phone.
o Result
The name and number will be displayed while of the calling party while you are on the phone with someone.
Call Forwarding
o Functionality: Forward a number
o Test: Press *01, Press 1, Press 1, Press 1 and enter your new number
o Result: Any call to your number will be forwarded to the number assigned for call forwarding.
Call Transfer
o Functionality: While on a call, the call can be transferred to another party
o Test: While on a conversation with a party, press “Flash” on your phone to place the caller on hold. Dial the number of the party that you want to transfer to. Press “Flash” again. Now you can introduce the first party on the call to the second party. Release the call by hanging up the phone.
o Result: The caller and the transferred party can continue with their conversation.
Call Return
o Functionality: With Call Return, you can know the number of the last person to call your phone. If you want to return the call, you can do so automatically, without having to reenter the number.
o Test: *03
o Result: The last phone number will be read out.
Call Hold
o Functionality: Hold calls with the option of music. Music on hold is a business option.
o Test: Place the call on hold by pressing the hold button on your phone or the “flash” button if hold not available.
For business customers, the music on hold option will be activated. The music will be standard music on our server.
o Result: The call will be on hold. The business customers will hear standard music while on hold
3-way Calling
o Functionality: 3- way calling will allow you to speak with two other people from different locations at the same time.
o Test: Call to destination one, while in the call. Press the flash button on your phone placing the caller on hold. Call the other party when you hear the dial tone. Press flash again to link both parties to the conversation.
o Result: All three parties should be able to participate in the conversation.
Call Screen
o Functionality: Call Screen allows you to block incoming calls from unwanted callers, on a temporary or permanent basis
o Test: To enable call screen
Press *01, Press 1, Press 6 and enter a number
o Result: The number who was screen will be directed to your voicemail and your phone will not ring.
Speed Dial 10
o Functionality: With Speed Call, you can program your phone to reach up to ten phone numbers at the touch of a single key
o Test: *01, Press 2, Press 1, Press a number between 1 to 9 and enter a number.
o Result: Press a number between 1 to 9 and wait for 2 t o3 seconds. The number that was setup for that particular speed dial number will be called.
Do Not Disturb
o Functionality: If you do not wish to be disturbed for a period of time, simply activate the Do not disturb feature. When enabled, all your calls are sent to your voicemail directly where callers can leave a message for you
o Test: Press 01, Press 1, Press 3
o Result: Call from outside and you should be greeted with the voicemail.
Network Backup Number
o Functionality: Emergency number in case the internet connectivity is lost locally at company. You as the customer provides the number you can be reached during these time period. For example you could assign your cell phone number as the Network backup number, in which case the cell phone will ring when the office is not connected to the internet
o Test: Press *01, Press 1, Press 2
o Result: If your internet is down, your number will be redirected to your backup number
Anonymous Call Rejection
o Functionality: This feature rejects calls made from anyone whose number is blocked from appearing on the Caller ID, including those displayed as "Private" or "Anonymous"
o Test: Press *01, Press 1, Press 4, To Set Anonymous Call Rejection Press 1.

International Call Block
o Functionality: International call blocking is the ideal way of making sure your employees don't run up your phone bill while calling family overseas! It also prevents family members from unintentionally dialing an expensive international number
o Test: Call Customer Administrator to block International Calls
o Result: Outgoing calls to long distance numbers is restricted, hence dialing long distance numbers will not go through
A web interface will be added to the API.
Directory Assistance Call Block
o Functionality: This feature allows for you to block calls to the 411 which charges a fee per call. By disallowing this feature you can control the charges you incur.
o Test: By default the directory assistance is blocked.
Caller ID Block
o Functionality: This useful feature allows you to prevent your name and number from being displayed when you make calls.
o Test: Press *01, Press 2, Press 2 to set caller id block. Call an outside number.
o Result: The destination phone’s display will not display name or number
Telemarketer Block
o Functionality: This feature is the same as anonymous call rejection, preventing telemarketer's solicitate from unknown numbers and destination.
o Test: Activate anonymous call rejection and call screen to block calls from a Telemarketer.
o Result: Any anonymous calls will be restricted from your phone as well as any number that you feel is a telemarketer will also be blocked.
Customizable Ring Delay
o Functionality: You will be able to manage the number of times the phone rings before it is picked by the voice mail system if available or else continue to ring until the caller hangs up.
o Test: Press **

Directory Assistance (Not Available Yet)
o Functionality: This is the regular call made to 411 requesting the number of the business or contact of interest. This call is charged on a call basis.
o Test: Dial 411
o Result: An auto attendant will greet you and ask you for city and name. If a match is found, a number will be given. If not, a live agent will help with the search.
Virtual Number
• Functionality: Privacy is important; you may not wish to reveal your home or cell number to market your business. In this case you can choose a virtual number that has any one of those numbers assigned to it. Thus, to the outside world they only know your virtual number. This way you can control the numbers distributed to the public.
o Functionality: This feature allows for you to get incoming calls to the number that is set by you. Whether it is to your cell phone, resident or business. This number forwards all incoming calls to the provided number. For example, you can keep one number for sales and forward the call to the appropriate person without having to provide personal numbers for the business.
o Test: Request a virtual number from SednaVoice. The virtual number will be forwarded to a number that is provided to SednaVoice. Dial the virtual number.
o Result: The phone number that was assigned to the virtual number will ring.
Toll Free Number
o Functionality: This feature allows for customers to reach you without having to pay long distance charges. Your business is charged on a per minute basis for the calls made by your customer. This number acts as a single number to reach your business from anywhere in North America.
o Test: Request a Toll Free number from SednaVoice. We will set a Toll Free number that will be assigned to your company. Dial the Toll Free number from an external number.
o Result: The Toll Free number will ring in your location.
Conference Room (In Test Phase – Not Available Yet)
o Functionality: Conference allows you to add people (greater than 3) to a discussion. Each number called in the conference is treated as a separate outgoing call and is billed according to you plan.

Fax to Email
o Functionality: Receive your faxes at the convenience of your email and print on a need basis.
o Test: You will supply an email address when you register your customer with us through the order form. Fax something from a regular fax line.
o Result: Check the email that was provided during sign up of fax service. An email with subject “Fax from #” will be in your inbox (where # is the number of the fax number that the fax originated from. The attachment is of .tiff format. The .tiff file can be opened using the “Windows Picture and Fax Viewer” program that comes with Microsoft Windows. Any program that support .tiff file format can be utilized as well.
Hunt Groups
Hunt Groups allow users within a group to be included in a specified subgroup to handle incoming calls received by an assigned Hunt Groups phone number. Group administrators can choose from any of the following “hunt” schemes, each of which rings the specified phones in a different manner:
Circular sends calls in a fixed order. The call is sent to the first available person on the list, beginning where the last call left off.
Regular sends calls to users in the order listed by an administrator. Incoming calls go to the first available person on the list, always starting with the first person on the list.
Simultaneous rings all of the users in the group simultaneously; the first user to pick up the ringing phone is connected.
With Uniform, as a call is completed, the user moves to the bottom of the call queue in a shuffling fashion. The next incoming call goes to the user who has been idle for the longest. If a user receives a call that was not directed to them through the hunt group, the call will not be included in the receiving order for Uniform calls.
