Description:
Easy-to-install and simple-to-use, the SPA-1001 connects a standard telephone or fax machine to IP-based data networks. IP telephony service providers and enterprises can offer users traditional and enhanced communication services via the customer's broadband connection to the Internet or Local Area Network (LAN). The SPA-1001 is very compact and ideal for home and office use. About the size of a deck of playing cards and weighing less than 80 grams (3 ounces), the SPA-1001 comes with the full slate of advanced features from Sipura Technology?s world-class VoIP platform implementation. The SPA-1001 features one RJ-11 POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) port for connection to existing analog phones, fax machines, PBX and key system communication platforms. The SPA-1001 includes an Ethernet interface for connection to a home or office LAN. The SPA-1001 can be provisioned via software controlled by the service provider or the end user. Installed by the end user and remotely provisioned, configured and maintained by the service provider, each SPA-1001 converts voice traffic into data packets for transmission over an IP network. The SPA-1001 can be used in consumer and business IP telephony service offerings including full-featured IP Centrex. The SPA delivers clear sounding voice and reliable fax calling through its implementation of internationally recognized standards for voice and data networking.

Description |
The Linksys SPA942 is a functionally powerful, easy to use business phone featuring comprehensive interoperability and secure mass deployment capability. Ideal for Hosted VoIP and IP PBX Applications, the SPA942 IP telephone can be a two or four line, full featured phone with high resolution pixel based graphical display, speakerphone and headset port. Stylish and functional in design, the SPA942 can be used in residential, SOHO, enterprise and small to medium business service offerings including IP PBX, hosted IP telephony and large scale IP Centrex deployments. The SPA-942 comes standard with a pixel based graphical display, speakerphone and head-set port and two (2) active lines. Each line canbe independently configured with its own SIP account or shared across a single account. The SPA-942 is equivalent to the SPA-941, but adds a backlit LCD screen, second ethernet port and IEEE 802.3af power over ethernet (PoE). Via a simple software upgrade, the SPA942 becomes a four (4) line phone.
