VISUAL CALL WAITING - See who is calling while on another call
|
Call Waiting lets you know when there is a second call while you are on the phone and
allows you to switch between the two calls. When a second call arrives, you will hear a
beep on the line. If your telephone set has a display screen, the caller's
number is displayed. You can then decide whether to take the call or not.
How To switch between calls?
During your conversation, when you hear the ring, press the flash hook (switch hook
or link button). The first call will be placed on hold and you will be connected to the
second call. To return to the previous conversation, press the flash hook again.
You can repeat this as often as you like. To end the first call before answering the
second, simply hang up and your phone will ring with the second call.
Functionality:
The name and number of the originating phone will be displayed while you are on another call.
Instructions:
While on a call dial your phone number using your mobile phone.
Result:
You will hear a beep and see the name and number displayed on the phone.
Assumption:
- The caller ID of the phone of caller is not blocked
- The phone support call waiting
- The phone supports name and number display
Optional: Although this feature can be useful, call waiting can be disabled to direct callers to voice mail
